The ground handling service provider Wisag will continue to operate at Cologne / Bonn Airport. This prevailed in the context of a tender and was granted a license extension for the next seven years.

According to a press release, Wisag is still allowed to offer the full range of services. These primarily include apron work on behalf of airlines as well as the loading and unloading of machines. A new collective agreement was reached with the Verdi union in March 2020. In the cargo sector, for example, DHL is one of Wisag's customers.
