With a stop in Vienna: Ethiopian takes on Addis Ababa-Copenhagen

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Ethiopian Airlines will start direct flights between Addis Ababa and Copenhagen on May 22, 2023. These are to be served five times a week. Since this is not a non-stop connection, a stopover is made in Vienna-Schwechat.

Only on Tuesdays and Sundays there are no flights on this route. As a rule, Boeing 787s are to be used. Unlike non-stop flights, direct flights can have any number of stopovers, as long as the flight number remains the same. Unfortunately, the two terms, which are actually clearly defined, are repeatedly, sometimes intentionally, confused in marketing language.
