The low-cost airline Wizz Air will increase the number of aircraft based in Vienna to six in June 2023. On some routes you will increase the frequencies and with Kuwait City and Bilbao also add two new targets.

But at the same time it comes for setting routes. For example, there will be no more flights between Vienna and Bucharest in the future. On December 14, 2022, the fifth Airbus A321neo was stationed in Vienna. At the same time, two more Saudi Arabia routes were added.

In the 2023 summer timetable, there will be frequency increases on the following routes:

Route frequencies
 Vienna – Funchal (Madeira) 1> 2
 Vienna – Riyadh  2> 3
 Vienna – Yerevan 3> 5
 Vienna - Nice  5> 7
 Vienna - Tel Aviv 5> 7
