Wizz Air closes bases in Bacau and Bari

In addition to Cardiff, the low-cost airline Wizz Air will also close its bases in Bacau and Bari. One of the reasons given for this is a “difficult macroeconomic environment”.

The closure of the British base in Cardiff should take place on January 25, 2023. This was only opened in April of the previous year. Bacau was already closed on January 10, 2023 and Bari faces the same fate on February 16, 2023. In this context, the non-stop route abandoned between Vienna and Bari.
