Wizz Air has expanded its mobile application to include the popular digital payment methods Apple Pay and Google Pay.

This innovation is now available for both iOS and Android users. The integration of these options is intended to make the booking and payment process for flights and additional services faster and more secure. Wizz Air is thus responding to the growing demand for flexible and convenient payment methods.

The new payment methods allow customers to easily complete last-minute bookings or purchase additional services up to 10 days before departure. According to Wizz Air, over 30% of travelers use this option to add additional services after the initial booking. This complements the airline's existing offering, which includes the acceptance of Revolut cards on board.
