The fleet of the airline Wizz Air Malta has now grown to 27 aircraft. The youngest offshoot of the low-cost group is just officially started in autumn 2022. It operates bases in Vienna and Italy, among other places.

The Wizz Air Malta fleet currently consists of 23 Airbus A321neo, three A320neo and now also one Airbus A320ceo. The latter aircraft bears the registration 9H-WDA and was last used by the sister company Wizz Air UK. According to CH-Aviation.com, this aircraft was transferred on December 20, 2022.

To date, Wizz Air Malta has taken delivery of eight brand-new Airbus A321neos. All other aircraft in the fleet were handed over by sister companies. Some bases previously operated by Wizz Air Hungary are currently being handed over to the Maltese sister company. The region of south-eastern Europe is mainly affected. Vienna-Schwechat is also already operated by Wizz Air Malta.

The Wizz Air Group has several operating airlines. These are Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air UK, Wizz Air Malta and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi. It is planned set up a branch in Saudi Arabia. Following the example of Abu Dhabi, this is to be raised in cooperation with a partner.
