Due to a bomb threat, the low-cost airline Wizz Air had to make an unscheduled landing in Paderborn, Germany, on its way from Poznań to London on Sunday evening. Polish air traffic control reported a possible threat to flight safety.

The captain decided on a safety landing in Paderborn/Lippstadt, where the medium-haul jet landed safely at around 22:05 p.m. After the passengers and crew exited the plane, it was extensively investigated by the executive. Nothing was found. As a precaution, Paderborn Airport was closed. An incoming machine was diverted to Düsseldorf.
