Wizzair is expanding the present at the Memmingen regional airport. From July 11, 2020 there will be three weekly flights to Larnaca.

In addition to Dortmund, Memmingen Airport has also announced that it will continue to expand its route network. From July 11th, the low cost carrier Wizz Air will be offering the destination Larnaka. The port city on the south coast of Cyprus is to be served three times a week - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

“We are very pleased that our passengers can now reach Cyprus again. The Mediterranean island has been on the wish lists of many passengers for years. Now we can close the gap again and with this tourist pearl we have another holiday destination at the start, ”says Marcel Schütz, Head of Aviation, commenting on the new route. Vacationers can start planning now, ticket sales have already started. According to Schütz, the new route also underlines the importance of the Memmingen location for Wizz Air.
