The aviation company Zimex Aviation is adding an ATR72-201F freighter to its fleet. The machine was registered in Switzerland as HB-AFN in the aviation register.

The turboprop aircraft was last used by Ohana, a subsidiary of Hawaiian Airlines. The machine was originally delivered to TransAsia Airways in 1994. After the conversion, this ATR72 went to Switzerland for the first time. The aircraft was in service with Farnair and ASL Airlines between 2007 and 2016. After further services in Ireland and the USA, he returned to Switzerland in June 2022, to Zimex Aviation.

The deal was brokered by Airstream International. The Swiss aviation company has therefore bought the freighter.
