Zurich Airport awarded as the best airport in Europe

As in previous years, Zurich Airport won the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award in the category 25 to 40 million passengers in Europe.

Even in another year marked by the pandemic, Zurich Airport managed to meet the expectations of its passengers and once again received the ASQ Award as "Best Airport in Europe in the 25 to 40 million passengers category". The ASQ Award is presented annually by Airports Council International (ACI) World, the international umbrella organization of airport operators. The award recognizes airports around the world that offer the best customer experience based on the opinion of their own passengers. The survey includes 34 different categories such as infrastructure, security checks, catering options and hygiene measures.

"I am delighted and very grateful that we were able to win the ASQ Award as the best airport in Europe of our size again this year. Like the previous year, 2021 also brought challenges, and the pandemic had a significant impact on events. I am all the more pleased that our passengers feel comfortable with us, appreciate our services and that our efforts are noticed. Thanks for this achievement also go to our 280 partner companies and all employees at the airport, both in front of and behind the scenes," said Stephan Widrig, CEO of Flughafen Zürich AG.
