The airport company Berlin Brandenburg has sold its last space in the Business Park Berlin.
Yesterday, Thursday, the purchase agreement for a 63 hectare site was signed with the British real estate company SEGRO after a bidding process had been carried out. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The contract partner is an old acquaintance of the airport, and in 2008 the company acquired 38 hectares in the Business Park Berlin from the airport company.
“We are very pleased that with SEGRO, a company has acquired the space that wants to invest in commercial development in a future-oriented and sustainable manner. This creates additional jobs and is a great benefit for the airport region. At the same time, it speaks for the international charisma of BER when a large foreign investor sees a great business opportunity in a location near the airport ”, says Aletta von Massenbach, CEO of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
