The US Delta Air Lines operated the only transatlantic connection between Stuttgart and the United States until the beginning of the corona pandemic. So far, this route has not been reactivated, but that should change at the end of March 2023.
Beginning March 26, 2023, Delta intends to fly four times a week between its Atlanta hub and the state capital of Baden-Württemberg. As a rule, long-haul aircraft of the Boeing 767-300 type are to be used. In the past, the US carrier was the only provider of transatlantic flights from Stuttgart.
It is currently planned that the flights ex Atlanta should be operated on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. From Stuttgart it should go back to the United States of America on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The route is one of the last that has not yet been reactivated. However, Delta Air Lines has repeatedly postponed the comeback in Stuttgart, so it is anything but certain that the new date will hold.
