Some time ago, the Lufthansa Group introduced so-called green fares with its network carriers. These are said to be particularly environmentally friendly, as they are intended to "balance" the flight-related carbon dioxide emissions.

After the first 100 days, Lufthansa takes stock. So far, around 200.000 travelers across the group are said to have booked this tariff. Most passengers were between Zurich and London, followed by Hamburg-Munich, according to the group of companies in a press release.
