Last year, Heringsdorf Airport was used by 19.500 passengers. This was 5.700 travelers more than the previous year. A distinction between general aviation and commercial scheduled services was not made in the broadcast.

The number of flight movements increased from 4.400 in 2023 to around 4.900 in 2023. Rhein-Neckar Air (operated by MHS Aviation), Luxair and Lufthansa have registered for regular flights for the current year. These are to be carried out from Mannheim, Kassel, Luxembourg and Frankfurt am Main.
