Berlin-Brandenburg Airport with 1,57 travelers in February 2024

In February 2024, around 1,57 million passengers were counted at BER. The preliminary figures from the traffic report show an increase of 10,9 percent compared to February 2023 with around 1,42 million passengers. In February of the pre-Corona year 2019, the number of passengers at the two airports Tegel and Schönefeld was almost 2,54 million.

12.433 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. Compared to the same month last year, the number of flight movements rose by 9,7 percent: 2023 flight movements were registered in February 11.338. In February of the pre-Corona year 2019, there were 22.041 takeoffs and landings in Tegel and Schönefeld. 

A total of around 2024 tons of air freight were loaded at BER in February 2.991, 10,9 percent more than in February 2023. The value was once again above the pre-Corona year, 20,5 percent more air freight was loaded than in February 2019 ( 2482 tons).
