Brussels Airlines and Tomorrowland proudly unveil “Amare”, the newest Belgian aircraft icon. Amare symbolizes unity for people around the world. The brand new livery of the Airbus A320neo is a world first as it integrates augmented reality, an innovation. Both partners are also increasing their efforts to make Tomorrowland flights more sustainable.

The design is a world first: Amare is the first aircraft to use augmented reality in its livery, as the bird comes to life when scanned via certain social media channels such as Instagram and TikTok. This feature offers the “People of Tomorrow” a first augmented story behind the world-famous magical creature Amare, which symbolizes unity and the transcendence of time and space. The entire livery design process took about 15 months, with particular attention paid to details, from the bird's feathers to the sparks from the fireworks that merge into the Brussels Airlines logo.

“Brussels Airlines has been a proud partner of Tomorrowland since 2012, and I am pleased to announce that we will be extending this partnership until 2028. We have many things in common, such as a passion for exploring the world and connecting cultures, but also an awareness of our ecological footprint and our willingness to take the necessary steps to reduce our impact. These shared values make this partnership such a success,” said Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO, Brussels Airlines

Amare will not only bring festival goers to Tomorrowland, but will also operate commercial flights since April 26, 2024. His “maiden voyage” starts on the 26th. April 2024 to Tenerife at 13:20 p.m. under flight number SN3781.
