Cologne/Bonn Airport has signed the Diversity Charter and is visibly committed to an appreciative and unbiased working environment. The Diversity Charter is an initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions under the patronage of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
By signing the Diversity Charter, Cologne Bonn Airport is sending a clear signal for diversity and tolerance in the world of work and signaling the appreciation of all employees regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender and gender identity, physical and mental abilities, religion and ideology , sexual orientation and social background.
“The topics of diversity and cosmopolitanism are essential and self-evident for us as an airport; different people from over 50 nationalities work hand in hand at us. We are now showing our appreciation for this by signing the charter,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH. “Especially in a changing labor market, against the background of demographic developments and in a specialized area like our airport, we consciously promote diversity as part of our personnel strategy and organizational development,” says Cenk Özöztürk, HR Manager at Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.
