In the 2024 summer flight schedule, which begins on March 31, 2024, 25 carriers will offer their services to 110 destinations in 35 countries from Cologne/Bonn Airport.

“In addition to numerous popular routes, our airline partners have also added many new products to their program this summer. As an airport, we can present a summer flight schedule that offers exciting destinations for every taste. We are very pleased about this large selection that we can offer our passengers during the peak travel season,” says Thilo Schmid, CEO of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH.

This year, the airlines are once again heading to destinations with a high frequency of travelers. These include, above all, Palma de Mallorca and Antalya, but also classic destinations for city trips such as Barcelona, Rome or Lisbon. British Airways, which has been back at the airport since last autumn, is continuing its flights to the international hub in London Heathrow in the summer flight schedule. This connection is ideal for travelers who are drawn to the wide world: Heathrow offers convenient connections to the global route network of British Airways and its partners, especially to North America.

A major German airline is also returning to Cologne/Bonn in the summer: Condor will be flying to Mallorca five times a week from May 9th. The airline takes you to the popular Spanish sunny island every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Air Anka is brand new at the airport. The Turkish airline will operate the route to Antalya daily from July 13th.

In addition, many airlines have added new destinations to their programs. From now on, Eurowings will also connect Cologne/Bonn with Chisinau in Moldova twice a week (from May 1st, on Wednesdays and Saturdays). There are also three other destinations that the airline serves in July and August: Samsun (from July 8th, Mondays) and Kayseri (from July 11th, Thursdays) in Turkey as well as Fez in Morocco (from July 13th, Saturdays). Other new routes are offered by Freebird Airlines with a connection to Bodrum (from May 18th, Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Corendon Airlines with flights also to the Turkish coastal city (from June 17th, Mondays and Thursdays). Pegasus will be adding Gaziantep in Turkey to its program from June 20th (Thursdays), SunExpress will be heading to Samsun from June 26th (Wednesdays).

Nile Air will be flying to Hurghada, Egypt, from June 10th (Mondays). The airline is also increasing its flights to Cairo and will be flying to the Egyptian capital three times a week from March 31 instead of the previous two times a week. Air Cairo will also be offering higher frequencies to Egypt from the end of March to Marsa Alam (two flights per week instead of one) and Hurghada (six instead of five).
