Deutsche Bahn is renovating the Cologne-Berlin high-speed line

Deutsche Bahn is currently carrying out renovation work on the high-speed line between Berlin and Cologne. This results in longer journey times because trains are rerouted via other routes.

A rail replacement service with buses has been set up between Cologne main station and Frankfurt am Main Airport. The duration of the diversions is stated by Deutsche Bahn AG as “until Saturday, December 2nd, 2023”. Some connections fail completely.
