Dortmund: Pegasus increases Istanbul (SAW).

The Turkish low-cost airline Pegasus will connect Dortmund with Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) more frequently in the future.

After the route was introduced in December last year, weekly departures were increased from three to five at the start of the summer flight schedule in April. In keeping with the peak travel season, the low-cost carrier is now increasing the frequency again, so that daily flights will operate between Dortmund and the Turkish metropolis from July 02, 2024.

Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services + Marketing & Sales, welcomes the airline’s announcement: “We are excited about the additional offer from Pegasus. The connection to Istanbul has been desired for a long time and we appreciate it all the more that the popular destination can now be reached even more flexibly." With the connection, Dortmund Airport not only offers access to one of the most popular tourist destinations, but also to the Sabiha Gökçen hub a variety of other attractive destinations.
