Higher salaries for pilots: company agreement concluded at Discover Airlines

The Discover Airlines works council was able to conclude a works agreement with management on pilot salaries. This applies retroactively to January 1, 2024 and provides for higher salaries.

The Cockpit Association is not entirely happy with the fact that only a works agreement could be concluded, but not a collective agreement. Among other things, one criticizes the fact that the wage tables contain the remuneration that was demanded by the VC. According to Discover Airlines, some of these should also exceed the demands of the Cockpit Association.

Both the VC and the Lufthansa subsidiary emphasize that they continue to pursue the goal of concluding collective agreements. The Cockpit Association has announced that strikes could be called again if no new offer is presented in the negotiations. To what extent the latest operating agreement has an influence on the possible participation by the Discover pilots is currently completely unclear.
