January 2024: Frankfurt with 4,1 million passengers

Frankfurt am Main Airport had around 2024 million passengers in January 4,1, 11,1 percent more than in the same month of the previous year. However, the volume was still 12,6 percent lower than before the corona pandemic.

Freight volumes in Frankfurt rose significantly in January 2024 and, at 154.296 tons, were 8,8 percent higher than the previous year. The number of flight movements also grew by 4,5 percent to 31.060 take-offs and landings. At the same time, the cumulative maximum take-off weights (MTOW) rose by 6,4 percent to around 2,0 million tons.
