Lufthansa: Green fare demand remains weak

According to its own information, the Lufthansa Group was able to sell around a million tickets in the so-called “Green Fare” within a year. Only around three percent of passengers chose this offer.

According to a release from Lufthansa, the proportion of business travelers is said to be slightly higher than the general average: Eleven percent of “C” passengers are said to have opted for the so-called “green tariffs”. While the Kranich Group celebrates the “Green Fares” as a great success, given that only three percent of travelers booked them within a year, demand appears to be rather weak.
