The Lufthansa Group will reduce its presence in Belgrade, Ljubljana, Skopje, Zagreb and Sarajevo in the 2024 summer flight schedule. This is said to be in connection with the engine problems in the A320neo series sub-fleet.

According to a report by Ex-Yu-Aviation.com, the planned increase to 21 weekly flights between Munich and Belgrade has been scrapped. There will be 14 weekly flights, with up to 18 round trips in selected weeks. Ljubljana will only be served once a day from April 2024. The Skopje route is to be reduced to eight rounds per week from May 2024. In Zagreb, the increases announced for both Munich and Frankfurt are not being implemented for the time being. Capacity is also falling because smaller Embraer 320s are to be used instead of Airbus A190s. Sarajevo should be visited eight times instead of ten times a week.
