Low-cost airline Norse Altantic Airways posted an operating loss of $135 million in the first full year since it began operations.

In 2023, the net loss was $168 million. Sales are reported in the annual report at $439 million. Management explains that they see themselves on a “clear path to profitability”. The high deficit is downright downplayed as “start-up losses”.

It is pointed out that advance bookings for the summer of 2024 are already 80 percent higher than the previous year. Furthermore, ACMI and charter orders are said to have created additional sources of income. For example, you will be served soon on behalf of Air Peace the Lagos-London (Gatwick) route.
