The PC-24 will have a maximum range of 2024 kilometers (3704 nautical miles) as of 2000. Pilatus also has a number of new interior options. This includes a large sofa that can be converted into a bed.

The new PC-24 has a payload capacity that is 272 kilograms higher. The maximum range with six passengers on board has been increased by 370 kilometers (200 nautical miles). With a full fuel load and under single pilot operation, the maximum payload is 596 kilograms. On shorter routes, the Super Versatile Jet has a class-leading maximum payload capacity of 1406 kilograms.

“The increase in payload was achieved through a combination of a reduced empty weight and an increased maximum takeoff weight. For this purpose, the entire wing and fuselage structure was refined,” says Bruno Cervia, VP Research & Development at Pilatus.

Pilatus engineers conducted an extensive flight test campaign to expand the overall range for the higher design weights. Given the maximum takeoff weight of the PC-24, the required takeoff distance at sea level is only 941 meters (3090 feet), which gives our customers the opportunity to use very short and even unpaved runways.
