The Dutch airline Transavia is threatening that if the ban on flights currently being discussed for Amsterdam-Schiphol Airport is implemented, they could turn their backs on this airport. Company boss Marcel de Nooijer is even suggesting a complete withdrawal from the Netherlands.

There is currently a discussion about the fact that in the future it will no longer be possible to fly to/from Schiphol between midnight and 6 a.m. However, this would be problematic for Transavia, as it owns 00 percent of all available slots during this period. It is argued that modern machines would be much quieter and that a planned withdrawal of Transavia from the Netherlands would lead to a general increase in ticket prices.

Marcel de Nooijer, managing director of Transavia, threatened the Dutch media that if the ban on Schiphol flights that is currently being discussed is implemented, they would no longer fly from the Netherlands and the capacity could be completely relocated abroad.
