Qatar Airways announces Doha-Hamburg

Golf carrier Qatar Airways will offer a non-stop connection between Doha and Hamburg from July 1, 2024. This will be served by Boeing 787s. According to Hamburg Airport, this is said to be the first carrier to use this model on a route to the Free and Hanseatic City.

“Today I can make a special announcement about the long-haul Hamburg-Doha connection. Qatar Airways, one of the largest global airlines, is launching in our north, which illustrates the importance of Hamburg as a travel and business destination. I am pleased about the new connection and wish Qatar Airways a good start in Hamburg,” says Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO at Hamburg Airport until the end of 2023.

The first flight from Hamburg to Doha will take place on Monday, July 1, 2024. From then on, Qatar Airways will offer a daily connection to its hub in Qatar. On Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday the flights take off from Hamburg at 15:40 p.m. (local time), landing around six hours later in Doha. If you prefer to start your trip early, you can travel from Hamburg to Doha at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - and from there to the whole world.
