Ryanair suspends Aqaba flights

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The low-cost airline Ryanair has temporarily discontinued its flights to Aqaba (Jordan). The background is that demand has plummeted due to the proximity to the border with Israel. Other providers are also currently pausing their flights to this airport.

Ryanair's connections to/from Aqaba from Rome-Ciampino, Bergamo, Madrid, Cologne/Bonn, Vienna, Sofia and Charleroi are affected. It is currently planned that the following routes will be paused until at least mid-December 2023. Until then, a decision will be made as to whether and when the routes will be reactivated.
