Salzburg Airport has had a new chairman of the supervisory board for a few days. Stefan Schnöll, deputy governor, has replaced his predecessor Christian Stöckl after eleven years at the head of the control committee.

At the most recent meeting, the new members of the airport supervisory board took the places of the old supervisory board members Günter Oblasser, Christine Seemann, Andrea Stifter, Johannes Vetter and Elisabeth Ziegler. “My thanks go to the outgoing supervisory board members who have accompanied the airport through stormy times, especially in recent years. The collaboration was always constructive, characterized by a professional understanding of aviation and always for the benefit of our airport. At the same time, I am pleased about the new members of the supervisory board, we are in challenging times and look forward to any support that will ensure the continued existence and further development of the largest federal state airport in Austria,” said airport managing director Bettina Ganghofer
