Successful family day at Salzburg Airport

On December 24, 2023, the 33rd edition of the traditional family day took place at Salzburg Airport. This year around 7.500 children and their parents or grandparents took part again.

The diverse event program offered a varied experience for every child, from play and craft stations to the Punch and Judy show and the magic show to the popular flight simulator. So the waiting time before Christmas flew by in no time, and the Christ child and his helpers were given permission to land. This year and on one of the first busy winter charter days, the landings of the aircraft made children's eyes shine. The numerous visitors to the family day were introduced to the fascinating world of aviation in a special way - through exclusive guided bus tours in the apron area.
