In the 2024 summer flight schedule, a total of 13 airlines will offer their services from the German airport Erfurt-Weimar. The airport expects over 170.000 passengers throughout the year. This would correspond to a growth rate of over 20 percent compared to the previous year.

New to the summer flight schedule are the airlines Eurowings with flights to Mallorca, Aegean Airlines to Heraklion and FlyLili to Burgas. In addition to Corendon Airlines, Mavi Gök, Freebird and Air Anka, four airlines will fly regularly to the Turkish Riviera, which is popular with holidaymakers, ie Antalya. Flights to Antalya generally take place daily in summer, sometimes up to 4 times a day. In addition to Antalya, Corendon Airlines will also fly to Heraklion and to Hurghada, Egypt, during off-peak summer times. In the core summer, the Egyptian airline NESMA Airlines will fly from Erfurt to Hurghada. In addition to the standard routes, special trips to Rome, Sorrento, Lamezia Terme, Olbia, Palermo, Aeolian Islands and Naples (Italy), Santorini (Greece), Tivat (Montenegro), Tirana (Albania) and Paphos (Cyprus) will again be in high demand in 3 Flight plan included.

“We are pleased that more and more airlines are interested in Erfurt-Weimar Airport and that we can therefore offer our customers a wide range of offerings. The same, says Stöwer, also applies to the many well-known tour operators who are further expanding their offerings from Erfurt this summer,” explains managing director Gerd Stöwer.
