From May 1, 2024, the ice hockey stadium in Kloten will again be called “Swiss Arena”. Swiss is supporting the local ice hockey club EHC Kloten. This collaboration complements Swiss's commitment to the airport region and the sports sector.

Swiss International Air Lines (Swiss) will again be the namesake of the ice hockey stadium in Kloten from May 1, 2024. From the 2024/2025 season, the home of EHC Kloten will once again be called “Swiss Arena”.

“As one of the largest employers in the airport region, local commitment is important to us. We are therefore very pleased to be the namesake of the ice hockey stadium for EHC Kloten's home games again after an interruption due to the pandemic. Of course we hope that our commitment and our partnership bring the team luck,” says Swiss Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach.

“EHC Kloten and Swiss – for many, the two brands have always belonged together. All the better that we can now revive our collaboration! “Swiss as the new, old naming partner for the EHC Kloten is a great commitment to the Kloten sports and hockey region, far beyond the airport region,” says Jan Schibli, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the EHC Kloten.

The agreement with EHC Kloten applies from May 1st and has a term of five years. The ice hockey stadium in Kloten had this name from May 2015 to summer 2021. Due to the corona pandemic, Swiss did not extend the contract in spring 2021.
