Ufo: No agreement in sight with Lufthansa yet

To date, no breakthrough has been achieved in the negotiations between Lufthansa, Lufthansa Cityline and the flight attendant union UFO. Employee representative Joachim Vazquez Bürger is not confident that an agreement would be reached before Easter 2024.

He explained that there would still be discrepancies regarding, among other things, the term and the amount of payment. This affects collective bargaining for flight attendants who fly for Cityline and Lufthansa. Just a few days ago, employee representatives literally paralyzed the flight operations of the two carriers with a strike call. It is currently unclear whether there will be further work stoppages before Easter. A lot will likely depend on the further progress of the negotiations.
