Vienna: Wizzair discontinues Dammam, Cluj and Dubrovnik

The low-cost airline Wizz Air is discontinuing the non-stop flights between Vienna and Dammam that were only started last year. The last flight on this route is scheduled for April 13, 2024.

Two other routes are affected by the red pencil: In the 2024 summer flight schedule, the low-cost airline will not offer any non-stop flights between Vienna and Dubrovnik. Flights to Cluj will also be canceled effective March 30, 2024. What is remarkable about the Dammam route is that it was last year was heavily promoted as part of the Saudi Arabia strategy. Obviously, demand for Wizz Air has not developed as expected, which is why it is being abandoned.
