Vienna Airport welcomes KM Malta Airlines

The new state airline of the Republic of Malta, KM Malta Airlines, was officially welcomed at Vienna-Schwechat Airport on April 4, 2024.

The ceremony was attended by, among others, Natasha Meli Daudey, Ambassador of Malta to Austria, Corinna Ziegler, Marketing Manager of the Malta Tourist Office, Walter Fehsler, Sales Manager Austria from KM Malta Airlines and Julian Jäger, Board Member of Flughafen Wien AG.

The Malta archipelago is a popular holiday destination and an important market for Vienna Airport. “With KM Malta Airlines, our airport subsidiary Malta Airport is getting a strong new home carrier,” says a pleased customer. KM Malta Airlines flies daily between Vienna and Malta: Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the flight departs Malta at 06:05 a.m. and arrives in Vienna at 08:25 a.m. The return flight from Vienna departs at 09:25 a.m. and arrives in Malta at 11:45 a.m. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday the departure from Malta takes place at 13:50 p.m., with arrival in Vienna at 16:10 p.m. The return flight from Vienna departs at 17:00 p.m. and arrives in Malta at 19:20 p.m. The flight is with a modern Airbus A320neo, which offers a total of 168 comfortable seats in a pleasant atmosphere in the Business and Economy booking classes.
