Air Baltic has started Ljubljana flights

The Latvian airline Air Baltic announced the start of direct flights between Riga and Ljubljana last week in the presence of representatives of the airline, Riga Airport and the Slovenian ambassador to Latvia. This new connection between the two cities offers expanded travel options between Latvia and Slovenia with two weekly flights.

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, combines a rich history with vibrant modernity and is considered a fascinating European travel destination. Nestled between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, it offers picturesque landscapes and the iconic Ljubljanica River that flows through its center. The city impresses with a mix of historic architecture and modern urban spaces. As a cultural center, Ljubljana is home to museums, galleries and theaters, complemented by lively cafes and traditional restaurants. Due to its sustainable urban development, Ljubljana offers visitors from all over the world a warm welcome and an unforgettable experience.

The flight time between Riga and Ljubljana is expected to be 2 hours and 15 minutes. In the 2024 summer season, Air Baltic will offer 15 new routes from the Baltic States and Tampere.
