Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The International Airlines Group really wants to buy its competitor Air Europa. But the EU Commission has concerns. Now extensive concessions are being offered.

The proposals were submitted to the competition authorities on February 23, 2024. So far, the Commission and the IAG have provided information about the content. An in-depth review is currently being carried out. It will likely be seen by June 7, 2024 whether the deal will be approved, will be waved through subject to conditions or will even be prohibited.
