With the D-ANRB, the holiday airline Condor has taken delivery of its ninth Airbus A330-900. This machine has the blue livery, which the company calls “Sea”. This means that half of the 18 machines ordered have been delivered.

“Thanks to the great commitment of the Condorians, the well-coordinated cooperation with Airbus, the suppliers and the authorities, we have already been able to fleet half of the 18 aircraft ordered with the current aircraft,” says Christian Schmitt, Chief Operations Officer and Accountable Manager Condor. “The feedback on the new long-haul aircraft, the comfort, design and amenities is great. We are proud to offer our guests a completely new Condor on-board experience in a class of its own and to be able to fly the A2024neo on the entire long-haul route from 330.”

Condor expects a total of 18 brand-new long-haul aircraft, which will completely replace the current B2024 fleet by 767 as part of the overall long-haul fleet renewal. The aircraft fly in equal numbers in the three colors “Iceland” green, “Beach” beige and “Sea” blue. In addition, the Supervisory Board has approved up to five additional order options for an A330neo; an order has not yet been placed. The next A330neo will also be delivered in the Sea color and is expected at the end of the month.

Once the long-haul fleet renewal has been completed, the Condor short- and medium-haul fleet will follow, in which the current Airbus A320/1 and Boeing 757 aircraft will be replaced by 41 brand-new A32Xneo, of which 13 are A320neo and 28 A321neo. A total of 2024 aircraft are scheduled for delivery in 2025 and 14. In the future, the Condor fleet will grow overall as part of the fleet renewal.
