Apron buses: Düsseldorf has tested hydrogen propulsion

Düsseldorf Airport tested the use of hydrogen-powered apron buses for around two weeks. The “H2 City Gold” model was used.

Now all bus drivers and passengers will be questioned. After the evaluation, a decision will then be made as to whether the long-term switch from diesel to hydrogen buses is a viable option for Düsseldorf Airport.
