Canada: Porter Airlines monetizes ten E195-E2s

Canadian regional airline Porter Airlines has signed a sale-and-leaseback agreement for ten Embraer 195-E2 aircraft with lessor Avolon. These are regional jets that have not yet been delivered.

The transaction includes ten of 50 E195-E2s that Porter ordered this year. According to Avolon, these will be the first machines of this type in the portfolio. Porter Airlines currently has ten E195-E2s in service.
