Nuremberg Airport is expecting around 2023 passengers during the Bavarian Easter holidays in 177.000. During the same period last year, 156.000 travelers were handled.

“The Easter holidays are the warm-up before the summer travel wave. We have prepared well and hired more than 60 new employees over the winter months to give passengers a pleasant travel experience," says Michael Hupe, Managing Director of Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg.

During the Easter holidays, most passengers will head for direct tourist destinations such as Antalya, Mallorca, Hurghada, Barcelona and Tenerife. Many travelers also use the holiday season to visit their families, relatives and friends living abroad. The most popular destinations in this regard are Thessaloniki in Greece and Palermo in Italy. Barcelona and Girona as well as the Croatian Zadar also invite you to collect Easter eggs on the beach.
