The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings Discover landed for the first time on November 16, 2022 at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The premiere flight was flight number 4Y142.

Eurowings Discover is the first international airline ever to start scheduled operations to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. From now on we fly to the Kruger National Park up to three times a week all year round, with a short stopover in Windhoek. Victoria Falls will then also be included again in the summer timetable with up to three frequencies. The new destination is also the first destination of Eurowings Discover in South Africa.
