A job fair was held for the first time at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport on Saturday. This took place at Willy-Brandt-Platz, which is in front of Terminal 1. According to the organizers, around 3.000 people took part.

At the stands of 33 companies one could find out about employment opportunities. If you are interested, you can also apply on the spot. Many are said to have taken a closer look at the BER visitor terrace afterwards. At the edge of Willy-Brandt-Platz, the airport fire brigade presented its fleet and offered insights into their everyday life in smaller demonstrations.

“BER is moving. We are pleased that so many visitors came to the job fair at the airport. At times the stands were literally besieged. The great interest speaks for the attractiveness of employers at BER Airport,” says Michael Halberstadt, Human Resources Director at Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH.
