The Polish airline Lot will operate a non-stop connection between Warsaw-Chopin and Oradea in Romania from June 3, 2024. It is the third lot destination in Romania after Bucharest-Otopeni and Cluj.

Lot will fly to Oradea four times a week. From Warsaw, LO657 departs on Mondays and Saturdays at 14:30 p.m., LO655 on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:25 a.m. The flight lasts around 90 minutes. On the way back, the departure time from Oradea is at 658:17 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays with LO40, and at 656:14 p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays with LO35. Embraer 170 and 175 machines are used.

“Oradea in northwest Romania, near the border with Hungary, is considered an insider tip for city trips away from the tourist mainstream. The city, whose roots go back to Roman times, is a highly interesting travel destination with magnificent architectural evidence from the Baroque and Art Nouveau periods,” says Amit Ray, Director DACH Markets, Italy and India and Head of Global Corporate and Strategic Sales at Lot Polish Airlines. “It is particularly pleasant for visitors that Romania has been part of the Schengen area since March 31, 2024. Anyone who flies to Oradea with Lot Polish Airlines no longer has to go through passport control there.”
