The German regional airport Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden had a total of 2022 passengers in 1.315.525. This was only 31.000 fewer passengers than in the record year 2019.

“We are very pleased that the number of passengers at the Baden-Airpark is recovering so quickly after two years of crisis. It shows that the airport and the destinations offered from FKB are attractive to people in the region. Accordingly, the offer will be further expanded in the summer of 2023 with Malta, Milan-Bergamo, Seville and Kos, among others,” says Managing Director Uwe Kotzan.

While in 2022, with 1.784 t of freight, 11,4% less goods were handled than in the previous year (2.013 t), there are signs of a positive development in flight movements. A total of 2022 take-offs and landings were counted in 37.464 (previous year 36.894; +1,5%).
