Railway operator Regiojet has started a daily connection between Prague and the Ukrainian Chop. According to the company's own information, it is currently the only commercial rail connection from the EU to the Zakarpattia region.

The new Prague-Kosice-Chop connection is another alternative to the already traditional Prague-Premyšl route, to travel to the Ukrainian border with a comfortable direct night train, with the possibility of changing to the Ukrainian railway. The biggest advantage of this connection is the convenience of crossing the border between Slovakia and Ukraine, where you do not have to wait in queues at the border lasting several hours, as with buses, which means an unpredictable increase in travel time. For passengers, this means a significant increase in travel comfort and a very fast and reliable connection at a good price.
