Security check: Frankfurt is also introducing appointment reservations

Earlier this week, Frankfurt am Main Airport introduced the reservation of appointments for security checks. The new service is free of charge and is intended to avoid longer waiting times. For the time being it is a trial run.

Last year, Berlin, Munich and Cologne/Bonn, among others, introduced the reservation of time slots for security checks. Now Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt am Main, is following suit. Those airports that offer such a service expect simplified control of passenger flows and thus shorter waiting times for travelers.
