Münster/Osnabrück Airport is expecting around 250.000 passengers during the NRW summer holidays, which is ten percent more than in the same period last year.

The school holidays in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia start on July 6, 2023. Traditionally, the first weekend is particularly busy. The most popular travel destinations this summer from Münster/Osnabrück are Palma de Mallorca with 28 weekly departures from Eurowings, Ryanair and SmartLynx Airlines. There are up to 24 connections per week to Antalya operated by SunExpress and Corendon Airlines. The Greek islands are also very popular with holidaymakers.

The FMO goes to Crete, Rhodes, Kos and Corfu several times a week. The Canary Islands of Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Tenerife and the Egyptian seaside resort of Hurghada round off the tourist flight program. It also goes to Pristina in Kosovo up to four times a week. New destinations this summer are Zadar in Croatia and Monastir in Tunisia.
