Nuremberg Airport will be visited more frequently during the international toy fair, which takes place between January 30th and February 3rd, 2024. Some carriers are using larger aircraft due to high demand.

“The positive effects of the trade fair stimulate traffic development and are particularly welcome in the lower traffic winter months,” says Michael Hupe, Managing Director of Nuremberg Airport.

To mark the toy fair, Air France is adding a flight on two days, meaning it will commute to Paris Charles de Gaulle three times a day. Lufthansa offers five instead of four daily flights to the Frankfurt hub for connecting passengers and also uses Airbus A321s with more capacity. British Airways flies to London Heathrow up to three times a day instead of currently once or twice. Turkish Airlines even relies on a wide-body Airbus A330 jet. In addition, there are travelers arriving with business jets. The Danish building block giant Lego, for example, has repeatedly set up a flight shuttle between the company's headquarters in Billund, Denmark, and Nuremberg.
